Therapy for
Anxious People Pleasers + Conflict Avoiders

Helping you find your voice, face conflict without panicking, and build the mutual, healthy relationships you’ve always wanted

Rachel Sleeper, PCLC

Clients come to me when they’re exhausted from anxiety, overthinking, people pleasing, and stretching themselves too thin…

… and they’re ready to find the way back to themselves.

You are ready to start therapy with me when you’re ready to choose differently.

Often, clients will tell me about a moment when something no longer fits - whether their role in their family, their relationships, identity, or the life they thought they were building. They can feel both ready for something different and unsure how to begin.

My Therapy Specialties

  • Your anxiety might look like overthinking, constant worry, or an ongoing tightness in your gut. Therapy can help you learn how to have boundaries with your own thoughts, sooth your body’s reactions, and have a peaceful brain again.

  • Maybe “no” is a foreign word to you. Maybe you know how everyone else around you is doing, but you don’t know how to answer “what do you want?”. Maybe you’re so focused on making others happy that you make yourself smaller… and you’re tired of it. In therapy, I love helping recovering people pleasers find their voice, discover what they love, and have the tools to say “I can’t” without feeling like a villain.

“Becoming isn’t always graceful,

but it’s always brave.”

Rachel Sleeper, PCLC

👋🏼 Hi there! I’m Rachel.

I became a therapist to be the therapist I needed when I was younger. I relate to the struggle of trying to manage conflict avoidance, anxiety, people pleasing, and life transitions alone, and along the way, I had two therapists who absolutely changed my life. I want to do the same with my clients.

You’re looking for a therapist…

...because you’re stuck in analysis paralysis, always saying yes, and asking all the “what if” questions.

  • Your tank is empty from dodging conflict and taking care of so many people, and you and wish you could say "no",

  • You worry about work, school, or your family, and can't turn off that part of your brain,

  • You want to be able to relax on a Saturday night with friends, and not feel guilty about your unfinished to-do list,

  • You want to take confident steps forward into a new career or big life change, but are afraid of what others will say,

  • You want tools for calming the loud, rushing, anxious voice in your head.

As a Montana counselor, I empower women with anxiety to get “unstuck” and make the choices and changes they need to live a more peaceful, purposeful life. Overcome anxiety, build confidence, and take purposeful steps towards living intentionally and joyfully.

Starting Therapy Together

  • 01.

I offer every new client a free, 15-20 minute intro call. Think of it like a vibe check, making sure we’d be a good fit. I’ll ask you about how you want to grow, and we’ll see if I’m the right person to help you get there.

  • 02.

Once we know we’re a good fit, we can schedule your first session. Think of it as a “get to know you” session where I’ll see what it’s like to live a day in your shoes.

  • 03.

To wrap up that first session, we’ll set goals together and figure out what would feel like progress to you. From there, you can expect some kind of therapy homework to keep your momentum going between sessions.

Take the 1st Step

Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute intro call - and if I’m not the best fit for you, I’ll help you find other options. Pinky promise.
